Valve invites 50k People to Steam Community Beta

Today Valve invited the first 50k people to get the steam "Pillar of Community" badge to the Steam Community Beta. Finnaly a use for badges! I really liked the badge system when they introduced it during the steam summer sale, but all they did was server as better achivements. Now they have a use. I did a review on this beta, and rather liked it.
