Steam Community Beta: A Review

Yippe! I got in the steam community beta. EDIT: Apperantly this means I was one of the first 50k recipeants of the steam community badge! Yay, I am current! This cant be as awfull as the last one right? right?

This I really like. It is a collection of screenshots, news, videos, user created content, ratings all in one place. Looks great too. There is a discussion tab to disccus the game. Easy to find. Every single game has a hub. Kind of nice. I will be in the Frozen Synapse hub. See you there.

Group Updates

Huge update to steam groups. Always nice. There is a revamped layout, to make content easier to find. There are group discussions, so disccuss the group. Also the gropus can list their

Needless to say this is great for social networking! I can post status, You can rate stuff, manage and add friends, view online friends, view your groups and profiles, and everything your friends are doing all in one place!!! Nice. Love this.

Steam game hubs, greenlight, and workshop all in one place? Yes please! Easy searching for game hubs to join! YES! The new steam community is amazing.

Overall I really like this new Steam Community, and it is only in beta! One of the first great additions to steam. May have to use the steam community more often. I really like this.
