Command and Conquer Generals 2 going Free to Play is BAD. That is my opinion. Why do I say this? Lets start with analyzing history.

CaC TA as I will call it, was EA's previous CaC f2p game, and this gives me cause for worry. This game was rife with pay2win, and bad buisness and gameplay decisions. It was nothing like a traditional CaC game. You thought Tiberium Twilight was bad? HAH! This was far worse. The F2P model, and quality on this was bad. This gives me cause to worry for CaC General 2.
EA's Recent Buisness Decisions

EA's Recent decsions for monitizing content also gives me cause to worry about the model of CaCG2. For instance Mass Effect 3's Day 1 DLC, or any of EA's free to play titles. All of these are examples of bad buisness models. I am really worried that EA will also butcher CaC generals 2, just to make money.
I am really worried that CaCG2 will suck, due to the fact that big publishers, still havent got Free To Play right yet. We will see though when it comes out, I just dont have high hopes. Ah well, I wasnt a big CaC fan anyway. Lets see what Sebastian Benjamin thinks of this post..
