Valve's Gabe Newell revealed that a beta for Big Picture mode of steam will launch soon. This was announced in early 2012. It would allow players to hook up their PC to their television. Valve aims to offer support for a tv remote, and controller.
Honestly I dont care. I use Windows 8, I can hook my computer to a television with support anyway.
