Opinion: Torchlight 2 V.S. Diablo 3 (Ben)

My blue screen stopped coming up for like 3hr so I was able to play TL2! People think Diablo 3 is so good, I am not saying it is bad but it is overhyped, a series called Torchlight came out in 2007 it was not too popular, fairly good hack and slash game 7/10. Then comes 2… (Still not hyped up) 9/10. Now before you blow up I give D3 a 9/10 as well.

Things for those concerned with online and offline TL2 has both, sadly no online store. D3 has only online (single player but you need internet to login and play) but you can bid even get real $ off the game.

Those conserved with performance TL2 has you covered, TL2 has extremely low requirements so it well work on a lot of portable devises. D3 has mediocre requirements meaning not to high not to low you need a just right PC to run it (or better than just right).

Items is a TL2 win, D3 has WAY more but most you just sell, this really annoys me I pick up 50 items and about 1 is good. In TL2 one in five items is useful, but items are not so common as in D3.

Combat is a D3 win… barley, the reason D3 wins is there is 3d combat (like shooting from top of stars or down a crater) wile in TL2 it is 2D (Just all the sides no up and down)

Storyline is a D3 by a lot, in TL2 I honestly don’t know what is happening while D3 has a clear amazing one .

Customizability of attack, TL2 wins by A LOT, in D3 there are so much class restrictions wile in TL2 there is almost none, I am using a flame shotgun on my Madge at the moment.

-Both have many difficulties

-Both are gory

-In TL2 you get a animal to help you kill monsters.

-Choosing of status in TL2 (defense, strength esc.)

-Both you choose spells you learn

If you can get both of these games if not get one if not… get none… overall this is 2 really fun hack and slashes that you should get.
