PlayZ: Guild Wars 2- The Charr Town of Naegling

Hello everyone! Welcome to the PlayZ! No not a terrible RaiderZ rip-off, but the article where I talk about my experices playing a game. Basicly a playthrough in words.  Typically this will be the most memorable game expirence of the week. This is the monday article. I will be doing this weeks PlayZ: on Guild Wars 2. Why on Guild Wars 2? Because I had a really memorable expirence in the town of Naegling in Guild Wars 2. What was it like? Read to find out.

I opened up Guild Wars 2 in order to grind my daily achivements. I got way more then I bargend for. I finished up all my daily achivements but one event. Where do I get that ONE EVENT? I thought, becasue I was in the beggening of the second Charr zone, were events are rarer. I was about to go waypoint back to the place in the first charr zone with constant events, when a NPC came up to me.

This is one thing I love about Guild Wars 2. You can just have NPC's come up to you like they are real people and ask for help. Kind of like the MMORPG that I made called FrostyDeath with realistic chatting AI. (I need to work on FD2.0....)

Anyway, back to the game. The NPC said, "Help! Our town of Naegling is being attacked by Sepratist giants!" I decided to investage, thinking hey! Here is a event! I should be able to do a variety of things, and easily finish it! Noooo I was so wrong. This was one of the best events I have done, and my actions really saved the world.

A giant was attacking the hub town of naegling, killing all the merchants and repair people. It even killed a karma merchant. Note that if it destroys the whole town, no one will have accses to it, it will belong to the enemy NPC's untill a event that takes it back succseeds. So huge stakes.

The enemy I needed to defeat to save the zone? A huge-skyscraper tall giant, with an attack that basicly one hits. It is a boss that most MMO's save for the endgame. It was a huge massive raid boss, that had me and 24 other people fighting it. It was huge. I love fighting constant huge bosses. Anyway, the attack that one hits? It is AOE. It requires LOTS of skill, that we didnt have. People and NPC's were dying left and right. It was a REALLY hard boss, as you can see in the next screen.

There were points were we wiped, and had to run back. We worked as a team, co-ordinating abilitys, planning, strategizing, and reviving each other though. We finnaly defeated it with skill and team work and saved the zone. All the NPC's were saluting me. The loot I got was pretty good, but that didnt matter. What mattered is the satisfaction of defeating a huge boss, saving the zone due to my actions, and the memory's and friends I made in this event.

Much better then finishing daily achivements ey?
