Inferno: Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.5 Analysis

Hello, welcome to the supposed to be weekly, Inferno Article. We talk about Diablo 3 here. Today I will be discussing Patch 1.0.5 for Diablo 3, that is on the PTR now. I will specifiaclly discuss the patch notes.

First of is Monster Power and Infernal Machine, and Hellfire Ring. I will ignore these, and just say they are awesome. They are. Infernal Machine adds more to the endgame, along with the ring. Monster Power is awesome, due to the customizable difficulty, and MF/GF/XP boost with difficulty. It solves the problem of loot drops, and difficulty in one awesome swoop.

You can re-orginize your heroes on the select screen, there is in game mail (not player useable.) This is a good, nice change.

Major in-game events will now grant one stack of Nephalem Valor when completed by a level 60 character in Inferno difficulty This is good, as it is a easier way to get NV via random events.

Experience Shrines can now appear in Inferno difficulty
Good for getting Paragon levels.
Two new shrines have been added to all difficulty levels:
Empowered Shrine – Increased resource regeneration and reduced cooldowns
Fleeting Shrine – Increased movement speed and pickup radius

This is really cool, and unexpected. The Empowered shrine especially, I will really like. For speedrunning the Fleeting shrine comes in handy.

Plauers can customize banner in town. I like this. New unlocked banner rewards highlighted, good. Linking Achivements, good. Friend of Friend is now working, that is great.

Crafting materials can now stack up to 500. This I am really excited for. I can finnaly clear up inventory space. Huge follower buff, huge class buff. This is great for those struggling to get through Inferno. Monster nerfs in multiplayer, bugfixes, item identifying shorter. GREAT!

There are so many great things in this patch, from the small, to the massive. I really like this patch, and dont see anything wrong with it. I will play ALOT of Diablo 3 once this patch hits.
