Opinion: Terraria on Consoles

The Terraria developers at re-logic have been hyping a "HUGE FEATURE coming to Terraria." What was that future? A Terraria port to console. Dissapointing right? Yep. It gets worse though. You know how they abondened terraria? Well it is getting updates again. On console only. Seriously. Wow they are really money grubbing. Now everyone needs to buy it again. They should release on vita, and force people to buy it again!

It seems Re-Logic is trying to annoy consumers. Ugh. Terraria the game is fine, but there are so many controversys about the developers.. Well for this article, to keep it positiveish we will ignore the developers and just talk about it going on consoles.

Terraria on X-Box Live and PS3. To make this short I will say this: If the bonus content is not just console, then it is fine. I dont think it will be too sucsseful on console, but it will do fine. It probbably is not worth the outrage, but hey, Re-Logic are no strangers to outrage. They want to port a game to console? Fine. It only takes a few button clicks anyway, so it is free money. (I love XNA 4.0!)

The problem with the console port is the bonus console content. That is stupid. If they said they are abondening Terraria, then they should keep to their word, or give the content to everyone. There is a possiblilty that the content is just a pet, like the 1.1.2 bunny, and if so that is fine. If it is major content though, then it better come to PC. If it comes as DLC fine, if it comes as free all the better. It needs to come to PC though.
