Opinion: Valve have gone too far

Valve have announced that they are making a Steam PC. Sounds good on the surface right? Wrong.
1. This is terrible, as steam is so bad already
2.Valve have announced that it will run Linux AND be a closed platform.


VALVE ARE YOU STUPID!!! Linux cant run games, and even worse: Closed Platform.

Valve control everything you do with this. EVERYTHING. You can only do what valve allow on this pc.

This is bad because VALVE HAVE SAID WINDOWS 8 IS TERRIBLE BECAUSE THEY THINK IT IS CLOSED!!!!! Windows 8 is OPEN by the way. Valve are hypocrits. Windows 8 is bad it is closed, HEY! Lets make a closed OS!

This warrents a boycott of valve.

I would just like to point out. Valve control everything, if Valve dont want you to view certain sites, they block them. Valve can block you from installing games. This is SOPA all over again. Sure, it will block piracy, but also anything else. Valve can block Micrsoft stuff, since MS competes.

They are also complete hypocrits becauase of this.


This warrents a boycott of valve. I for one wont be playing Valve games, and may not even use Steam. Yes, this means I have to quit one of my favioret games: Dota 2. Yes this means I stop playing Total War on Steam. I am fine with that. I am going to stand up for the consumers rights. I am going to stand up for Game Developers. I am going to stand up for principles. That is what gamers are known for, among many things.
