During the 11th Annual J.P. Morgan Tech Forums at CES 2013, Microsoft announced that they have sold 60 million Windows 8 licenses to date. This isnt even including buisness or companys they licensed it too. As in it wouldnt include me. The actual number is more like 80+ million. They are doing really good.
Windows 8 is selling much better then Windows 7.
